Morgan Slade is the Founder and CEO of Exponential Technology Inc., a data infrastructure and analytics firm transforming institutional investing through AI, predictive analytics, and last-mile data solutions. With over 25 years of systematic investing and market-making experience, Morgan has held senior executive and investor roles at Citadel, Wolverine, Allston Trading, Merrill Lynch, Millburn Corporation, Carlson Capital, Penson Worldwide (IPO), and Trevi Ventures (sale to competitor). In addition to having over 25 years experience in institutional investing, Morgan is a pioneer in machine learning and high-frequency trading, he has built and scaled market-making, statistical arbitrage, and dozens of distinct alpha strategies across all major asset classes. Prior to founding Exponential, he served as CEO of CloudQuant, where he led the company’s evolution from a global systematic fund into a leading provider of bespoke alternative data and investment signals. Morgan holds BS and MS degrees in Materials Science and Engineering with a concentration in Economics from MIT and studied finance at MIT Sloan School of Management. He is a recognized thought leader on AI in finance and the commercialization of alternative datasets. Morgan enjoys hiking, snowboarding, playing piano and guitar, reading and spending time with his wife and five children.
